About the Owner
Kysha Coleman is an educator. In fact, she has been teaching Midsouth high school students and women how to prepare for the world of work and werk through education and fashion.
For sixteen years, her careers and technology education classroom has been Kysha’s platform to humorously share lessons, experiences, and anecdotes on how to begin the journey to becoming a “boss chick”.
She is passionate about helping women feel beautiful—inside and out. Her passion was her motivation to opening Desoto County, Mississippi’s Sugah Momma’s Boutique, a fashion boutique that caters to regular and plus-sized women. During her five years in business, she has organized fashion shows, pop-up shops, vendors showcases, model boot camps and more. With each event, Kysha makes sure to give of her knowledge and resources. Her mission is to help women to grow personally, in business or education.
The Pine Bluff, Arkansas native studied Business and Office Education at the University of North Alabama and Educational Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. Her business partner in life (Jim Coleman) and three children (Justin, Kyra, and Jordanne) motivate her to continue to press toward the mark of becoming the ultimate boss chick.
Serving through Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and attending World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church keeps Kysha grounded and inspired to continue to excel and to assist others on the same journey.
Her motto is "Work Hard. Play Hard . . . In That Order" and she does just that. When not teaching or catering to the wonderful customers of Sugah Momma's Boutique, Kysha spends time traveling, learning, and enjoying time with family and friends.
